Hagerstown Municipal Golf Course first opened for play in 1932. The course was designed by Frank Murray and Russell Roberts.
Hagerstown Golf Course is an enjoyable nine hole course that is perfect for beginners. The fairways are wide open, and the greens are slightly sloped and medium in size and speed. There is a stream that flows throughout the course that comes into play on several holes.
Hagerstown Municipal Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par of 34 and 9-hole distance of 2,554 yards.

I PLAYED HERE IN JULY & IT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE THE GREENS WERE GOOD & THE FAIRWAYS WERE MOWED PROPERLY . I TOLD A FRIEND HOW NICE THE COURSE WAS BUT IWAS GREATLY DISAPOINTED IN THE SHAPE IT IS IN NOW. THE FAIRWAYS WERE MOWED SO SHORT YOU WERE HITTING OFF OF THE DIRT & THE GREENS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN OVER FERTILIZED & WERE IN EXTREMELY BAD CONDITION. I WILL NOT BE PLAYING HERE ANYMORE THIS GOLF SEASON
